He was speaking today at the 5th Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT) Conference at IIIT Basar in Nirmal District.

KTR said, “I congratulate the Vice-Chancellor on the construction of the new hall here. 2,200 laptops will be distributed to students in the next 2-3 days. 1,500 desktop computers are also provided to students.”

He recalled his graduation day and congratulated all the students who graduated from the university. “I remember the day I graduated. I congratulate all the students graduating today. This moment is a watershed moment in your academic life. I urge you to remember that learning is a continuous process and a solid foundation allows you to broaden your horizons. I am delighted to be among the emerging industrialists, outstanding engineers and successful leaders,” said the Minister.

We have ensured that universities have dedicated teaching and research faculty to prominence the country’s universities among institutions of national repute. The government, led by KCR and Sabitha Indra Reddy, is keen on improving the infrastructure of higher education institutions,” he added.

Commenting on the technological developments going on across the state, he said that Telangana has been at the forefront of promoting advanced technology.

“We have established Telangana Academy of Skills and Knowledge Mission Centers in all districts. It provides training in aviation, logistics, electronics manufacturing, additive manufacturing, cybersecurity, and forensics. Telangana plays a leading role in facilitating and providing strategic directions to global companies with quality human resources.

Commenting on the need to be familiar with modern technology, he said, “Imagination today has no limits and opportunities are limitless today. To survive, one must update and educate oneself on current technologies. We live in a time of digital transformation and digitization is an enabler of change and a force multiplier. Computers can now study the human brain in real time and provide solutions.In the near future, artificial intelligence will be used to interpret animal language, monitor pollution and reproduce sound.We live in a world of interconnected devices.Artificial intelligence and machine learning are mainstream today.The world is heading towards 3D mode with digitization, de-carbonization and decentralization. It is time for universities to redesign their curricula to include the latest technology.”

He even urged the Minister of Education, the Minister of Education and the University to incorporate a practice school or vocational training model. He said that if the students could learn by doing in the industry, they would gain more practical understanding.
