President of Bloomfield College Hosts Higher Education Leaders at ACE Women’s Network – New Jersey

Bloomfield College President Marchita B. Evans, Ph.D., recently hosted the American Council on Education (ACE) Women’s Network in New Jersey at the college’s Westminster Center for the Arts.

More than 50 higher education leaders from northern and central New Jersey, representing both public and private two- and four-year higher education institutions, have joined together to network and create supportive connections with the goal of developing their career paths.

President Evans, who has been the presidential sponsor of ACE Women’s Network-NJ since 2021, welcomed the spirited group, saying, “It is so important that women support other women, and today brings women into leadership roles for higher education from around the world. The country that stands Standing to train and mentor those who will come after them are an inspiration to me. I couldn’t be happier to be the host for this first in-person event since the pandemic on behalf of ACE-NJ.”

ACE Women’s Network-NJ offers in-person and virtual professional development activities for women leaders in higher education. The organization’s next event, annual Women of Color SymposiumDecember 2, 2022 from 12-2 pm As a virtual event with optional virtual networks following the seminar.
